About SIPCW

The Staten Island Partnership for Community Wellness (SIPCW) seeks to create a healthier Staten Island by bringing together partners, stakeholders, and community members to address emerging health needs. SIPCW focuses on Staten Islanders in need, especially those facing health burdens or inequities, to give all community members a chance to live their best lives.

For more than two decades, SIPCW—a public health nonprofit organization—has addressed critical issues such as obesity, chronic disease prevention, mental health and substance misuse. Through its ability to bring like-minded partners to the table, SIPCW has enabled data-driven decisions and identified evidence-based strategies to collectively approach complex health issues on Staten Island. Instead of working alone to address intricate health issues, SIPCW aids organizations and individuals to use their resources together to fill serious gaps in service and treatment.

SIPCW provides backbone support to several public health initiatives focusing on the integration of behavioral and physical health across systems.

We provide:

  • Coalition Building
  • Project Planning & Management
  • Partner Engagement
  • Facilitation
  • Communication and Education
  • Data Collection and Sharing
  • Evaluation
  • Policy and Advocacy
